EA throws out a new Tiger Woods 08 golf course for $7

EA has thrown out a new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 8 course on Xbox Live which costs 400 points, approximately £3.40 which is close to $7. The new course is called Blue Monster and is reportedly known for its trickery and complex design.


It will set you back 400 points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.65) and let you ping balls around the renowned Doral course. This green is nicknamed Blue Monster for its trickery, and has been home to lots of successes for Tiger Woods in recent times - helping him rack up total career prize money of around USD 76 million.

Time to whine people....thats freakin insane. If the courses were worth $7 each TW08 would have been $130 on the shelf.

My only comment on this is that 400 points in the US is $5, not $7. Still expensive for a course, but you can't take the rough UK price with the VAT implications and then just work it backwards with a rough conversion.

My main gripe as with all this pay for extra content crap, is if it's free on the PC then why should console owners have to pay? Not that I know if this is free on the PC mind you, but even so I doubt it wouldn't be unless it was part of an add-on pack, in which case it would be far more than 1 course.
