Rumor: Rockstar sending out GTA IV dummy boxes

According to an Xbox fan website, Rockstar has been sending out 6 GTA IV dummy boxes (unique covers) to gaming media which shows off the new and official box art on the front of the cases.

This morning we got a box at our offices that felt a little heavy. We open it and there are 6 copies of GTA IV! We look closer and see the dreaded “RP” and realize we’ve been sent the boxart sans THE GAME!

Anyways, we thought we’d share with you the official boxart for both the PS3 and 360 versions. We however won’t show the images of us crying when we realized these were dummy boxes.

I wish. We all know Rockstar though, They will advertise and tease us for months and mabey if we are lucky we'll see it launch in April.
