View Full Version : Seems as if someone is already playing Mass Effect

From the following picture, it would seem as if someone is already playing the Mass Effect Limited Edition. However, the respective individual has been suspended for a few days and rumor has it that it is a Best Buy pre-order disk.

Got this picture via email... so that means there's people out there with the "Mass Effect Limited Edition" copy already. Also I heard that this "unknown" gamertag got suspended for a few days just because playing an advance copy on his Xbox 360.

*Update: Got an email saying that this person wasn't banned but "suspended" for a few days.

**Update: I talked with a few people and this could be the Best Buy pre-order disk.

is he playing the actual game, or just looking at the bonus disc that you get when you reserve the game?

yeh s/he is playning the game, bonus content comes on dvds and would not show the hidden achievments under the name

That my friends is not the Mass Effect game. I pre-ordered mine from Gamestop and I received the Mass Effect LCE disk the same day.

When I pop it in to view the disk it shows everything seen on that pic.

Sorry but everyone will be waiting 3 more weeks.

If the person playing on the Xbox is playing halo, then it shows the Service Record stuff for anyone he views. So the person who took the screen was playing Halo, not the gamertag claiming to play Mass Effect.

its the bonus disk, I got one today and looks exactly the same
