Not really a tutorial, but a guideline.
With sdcards being so useful with the gc, i decided to to build mine in.
I've had several pms about this mod so i whipped up a little guide to help others along.
This mod is very simple I even think its easier than the memcard sd adaptor.

Run sense lines 1 and 12 to a simple always on momentary switch.

Bridge line 3 and 6 on the sdcard.

Mount the adaptor.

i want a sd card adapter too :( but i dont have any cards/ adapters or a dremel to make that nice looking slit. good work on yours, i think u should stick this in the tutorial section

I did'nt studied much about that, but can memory card slot 2 be used?
And i dont have SD-cards, so this is useless for me... :rolleyes:

Yes. I use a 16mb mmc card from an old nokia phone.

I have been trying to find somewhere to buy one of these adaptors so i can mod my cube case to use sd memory. Anyone know where to get them or what the technical name of the adaptor is.

I use an IDE connector (from old motherboard or drive) it's ok.

But 2 memory cards + SDCard can be connect in same times ?

No. SD card replaces memory card.

Isn't there like a memory card where you can insert an SD or MMC card??? I saw some pic, but I lost it (will search around a bit). If so, could you load dols and cheats whit that memory card?

Thanks for confirming the pinouts for me, did my mod by using multimeter and normal card drawings, used a serial port cable as its nice and flat like an IDE.

Only problem i cam accross was routing the cable had to make a 1cm hole in the metal plate and mounted mine under the mem card slots.

But the picture of the front of your GC was what inspired me to do the internal slot instead of altering a mem card.

Am currently still modding as am awaiting a chip and will be getting some leds and a new case over the next few weeks will post pics when i can.

Thats Hella tight, too bad it replaces the memory card slot.

Why could'nt you just reconnect the GCmemcard slots on top of the SD one?
