new ps3 time to mod my old ps2

ps3 (60gig) came in the mail today so...
1 is ps3 hdd compadible with ps2, i have model #SCPH-39001
serial FU2646198 expansion bay is emty and colecting dust no mods but not out of the question not looking to spend money but will if i half to

was hopeing to upgrade my ps3 hdd to ... big and faster

so what do i half to do to make it homebrewable hope for reply :)

so which is it you want to put an hdd in your ps3 or ps2, what exactly are you asking here?

i want to know if the ps3 60gig is compadible with my ps2
so when i upgrade i can give my 60 to my ps2 then i will mod my ps2 for backup pourposes (old games)

no u cant use the ps3 HDD in a ps2.....just go to your local electronics store and get a HDD for under a $100.....A bigger PS3 HDD will cost more :cool:
