Persuade a European friend to buy an Xbox 360 and both get 10 arcade games

Microsoft is running a promotion in Europe (not sure which regions specifically) which encourages gamers to make their friends buy an Xbox 360 in order to both receive 10 arcade games. The games available are Sensible World of Soccer, Sonic, SF 2, Bomberman, Marble Blass, Spyglass, Small Arms, 3D Ultra Mini Golf, Assault Heroes and Zuma, so essentially you are getting around 7000 free points. Pffft...Those games pretty much suck. Where is Geometry Wars, or Symphony of the Night? Even TMNT Arcade would have been nice. Sonic the Hedgehog is free anyways. The only thing that gets unlocked for paying for Sonic 1/2 is points. The demo has the full games. And 'miserabillis' is right, include Xbox Live Gold time.

Oh well its better than what they gave you before which was nothing. Several of those games are actually quite decent and all are multiplyer so it gives the people using it something to play on live right away regardless of the software titles they purchase.

As usual the first to bash it and first to post at all are the usual cast of misfit fanboys.

No mention of you needing gold, just as long as the console was bought from 15th october. Also says the promotion is valid in the UK and many other european countries. Need a copy of a valid receipt as well

Oh and one other thing, its only valid for the first 25000 entries they recieve

Yeah real great marketing 10 shitty games, I can't believe how tightass ms are, it's like Forza 2, I bought the game then had to pay for Gold Live membership to use the auction house & now there going to charge $7.50 for 1 track which should be free. How about they pull there finger out of there ass & give 10 free game downloads that you can choose yourself :mad:

thats true, you get them downloded onto your 360 then once the 360 dies and goes to ups heaven you no longer have them and i can imagine the arguements with ms "helpline" to get your free games back, let alone the drm issues from then on if you want to play them.

i just wish ms would either fix the damned problems or get its arse sued to force it to fix the problems then we can dare to play on the machine as much as it realy needs to be played on instead of avoiding it where possible and only playing in short bursts to keep it alive.

You are completely correct, ms should fix the problems as it's a pain in the ass, I am now onto my 3rd 360 & I only play it for short bursts in fear it will screw up, & for all those dickhead fanboys like acemilo & Jinx13378 need to stop praising ms & to help the cause in getting ms to fix these problems cause it's only helping ms to get away with all of this fucked up crap by worshiping them.
