Cant run Backups! :( I bought my ps2 already modded from singapore, im not sure what chip it was, but all the games i purchased from there work fine, but when i make a backup of a disc and try to run it, it doesnt work. the ps2 just doesnt recognize it, its not the discs, cause it plays dvd-movies perfectly fine, it just wont boot up ps2 backups. even hd loader doesnt recognize it. any suggestions?:confused::(

I'm not really family with HD loader yet however, some mod chips will only recognize DVD-R. Are you burning your games on DVD+R media or DVD-R?
If you are using DVD+R try the -R media and see if that works. My friends mod chip wouldn't recognize DVD+R.
If they gave or sold you burned games that work then that is the only thing I can think of. It has to be an issue with the media you are using to burn the games.

ive tried all sorts of discs, it reads back ups of dvd-movies which are -R, but it just wont load -R PS2 Game Backups. :( is there any other way of booting backup games without a mod/slidecard.
