With the new version out let's make a compatibility list and state how specific roms are running, bugs,sound etc...

Tried TMNT, TMNT 2 and Sunset Riders as it is on that list and they all crash..

What the heck.. Why would that author put it in if it doesn't even work?

Its probably for the Mame version it was ported from.
The PSP isn't exactly a hardware beast compared to a current PC.

My main concern is that for one I think the list within the emulator is not the current supported list and two that it's very hard to find matching roms in the list since most roms come as .zip files and there r many versions of the same game.

As for compatibility I tried a couple of roms most of them crash dont even start. Only 2 working 100% are ms pacman and donkey kong. Double dragon 1 and 2 work but very slow.

To get back to the rom selector press L+R+START btw...

Which emu has Ms. Pac-Man? It only had Pac-Man.................

The one on the frontpage on maxconsole links to a version of PSPMAME with ms pacman in the list...

I find that some Games I have roms for are corrupted or wrong file name, and will start to load and crash. After selecting game and starting up look at the messages at top left and remember file name next make sure you have correctly named rom and version you are selecting. Sometimes there is a: a,b,c or 1,2,3 parts I always have all parst to file.

Another main issue is I find alot of games require you to run at 333mhz and VSYNC helps alot form crashing/lockups. Remember before selecting rom to hit left trigger and setup settings for mame as I find the defaulted settings just don;t cut it for majority of games.

A classic situation of multiple versions of a game and vendor is PAcman, make sure you are selecting proper vendor for game you have rom for as well.

I have run about 50 games on all versions, mainly 1942 :p on the Capcom and find no issues after i foudn out i needed to have complete set ( a,b,c files )
