Bungie investigating Halo 3 game save bug

Bungie has confirmed that it is aware of an issue which prevents Halo 3 gamers transferring campaign progress onto another Xbox 360 regardless of whether they use a memory unit or take your hard drive. A message churns out stating that it is 'unsafe to respawn' which then takes gamers back to the menu screen. Bungie are now investingating the cause of the problem and are trying to come up with a solution.


Gamers who played Halo 3 on their console and decided to finish the fight in a friend's Xbox 360 got a nasty surprise. There is a bug that stops you from transfer campaign progress to another Xbox 360 console whether you use a memory unit or take your hard drive. You can load up any mission or insertion point you’ve previously completed but you won’t be able to “resume” from your last saved spot. You simply get a “Unsafe to Respawn” message and then you're taken to the menu screen.

Bungie has announced it is aware of this issue and it is currently investigating the cause and solution to the problem.

Also, the developer announced that Bungie PRO subscriptions are currently offline due to a small issue that is also being investigated.

Ok So its the biggest game of 2007 BUT:

Exept Water and some HDR graphic its Halo 2 in HD.

Game last 4 hours max if u are blind and impaied,and u need to visit some levels up to 3 times like running in circle.

Spend 80€ on the Limited Edition and u get a nice set of scratched cup holders.

Pay 60 € to play the game online the only rumored good thing bout the title and Live crashes almost an entire day.

Save your game and u risk it to start all it over again ?

Rely on reviews and u can see they received up to 800$ bribes for them, nobody of all the 10/10 online magazines rates even mentioned....

They advertise HD video content on the limited and legendary boxes 80/130€ and u ll find out its low res REMASTER HIGH QUALITY but always LOW RES .......

Advertised as 1080p even months before its launch and now we find out its 640p.

Definitely Best Game of 2007

I have yet to hear a valid arguement that halo 3 sucks from anyone but sony fanboys who never played the game. I play the game online all the time and everyone loves it. 4 hours my ass, it took me about 10, you must be confused with heavenly sword. I've never heard ANYONE who owns the game say it looks like halo 2 in hd, only sony fanboys who attach to anything negative and push it like its true. Get a life, stop grasping on straws trying to justify paying $600 for a console with no games, and play some halo.

Link please? :P I'm not a halo fanboy (didn't complete the 1st one and didn't play the 2nd one, but I liked the 3rd one. The multiplayer looks nice (just need to get better at aiming) and the capaign took me 16 hours at normal. Try to do that on Legendary and we'll talk about your 4 hours if you're blind...
