The celebs who attended the event varied in terms of their profile ranging from the likes of Pharrell Williams to Big Brother's Posh Spice wannabe Chanelle Hayes.

Im an xbox owner and ill admit the hype is well overboard. Whereas your a little PS3 wannabe owner with nothing more to do once you get passed level 1 on etcha sketch and wont admit it :).

Well, i would happy agree with that. Although i am not an xbot. I would not follow any company so blindly - unlike you Sony boys.

I do hate the hype of this game. It's just pointless.

There are millions of people who love Halo, and as such, millions who will buy it. There are millions of people who hate Halo, and they would not touch it with a barge pole. There a people in the middle who will give it a try.

The hype seems totally unnecessary.

I wonder if you Sony fanboys will get so bored with the hype for FF13, or Metal Gear 4, or KillZone 2.

If fact, you Sony fanny boys use KZ2 so often as a reason why the PS3 will 'pwn', that without even knowing it, you are already building up hype for KZ2 which, in all fairness, is counter productive. The game is 6 months or so from release, and already you have built it up as the best FPS ever.

Just imagine what it'll be like when Sony get the ball rolling too.

Halo 3 is def over hyped, but KZ2 is not going to be far behind come release.

Too promotion, too parties, with this whole publicity, and sees the importance of the title, Halo, will have to sell as, otherwise it will be a failure.

That's the thing though, all this hype for 1 GAME!! I can understand Sony making hype for MGS4, FF13 and Killzone 2 because it's not just a single game, it's 3 Brilliant exclusives, but seeing as M$ paid for it all (and the celebs).

It wouldn't surprise me if M$ bribed IMAX to not let Sony perform a launch party :rolleyes:
