Rumor: PAL Halo 3 Limited Edition content screwed up?

A rumor is circulating that some PAL gamers who got their second Halo 3 game DVD As part of the Limited Edition pack have found that there are no HD Cinematics, no day in the life of Bungie and no additional special edition stuff which should be present.

Looking forward to prising it from it’s virginal packaging?

If you were particularly lucky, some of you had your Legendary editions delivered to an address of your choice today. Perhaps the rest of us receiving our own tomorrow should be a bit more nervous about taking a peek inside that box.

Of those who received theirs today - some are speaking of a mysterious second disk, a complete second Halo 3 game DVD. Great you think? Not really… The extra copy of the game takes the space where the additional ’special’ edition stuff should be. No calibration tool, no HD Cinematics and no Day in the life of Bungie to be found.

Excuse me, maybe I've skipped a beat, but I didn't know that the Legendary Edition (the one with the Master Chief elmet if I don't go wrong) was officially sold in Europe. None of my usual resellers stock it.
I thought it was a US-Market exclusive...

The european limited collectors edition is the same as legendary edition without the helmet.

they made a mistake hyping the game up and using trinkets to get a few more quid in the first place.

like giving a cub scout 10p to paint your whole god damn house on bob a job day.

No, you are wrong there mate. W do get the Legendary Edition here in the UK. Most places have sold out, but it was available. As was the LE and standard version.

Legendary edition retails for about 55-60 quid here in the UK.
