wii dvd drive no electricity

I tried to mod my wii, and i think i made quite a mess..
anyhow, i desoldered the wiikey back off, but my problem is this: the dvd drive doesnt do anything, as if it is not connected to the power supply...
I have a problem with the white cable not clicking into de drive(should it?). and could anybody tell me how the cable should go in, cause i tried both ways but both ways didnt work... it just doesnt click in, it immediatly falls back out again.
is the white cable the power cable?
i tried the thing with the fuse, but that didnt work.
hoping for usefull response cause i want to play on my wii again.

the white cable supplies power to your dvd drive, check if any of the pins are bent.

the cable can only go in one way, check the notches!

should the pinholes be up(away from the bord) or down (to the bord)?

It can only go in one way. But to put it into terms you can understand, the pinholes should be down......

it seems that one of the pins is broken (meaning its not there anymore). Is there any way to repair that?

No. Not by you...you'd have to send it in to Nintendo to get repaired.
