The best game out there. Have you played it? What are YOUR accomplishments?

There are some things out there on the scene. A USB unit that nabs the song files from the game. A AR save game analyzer that nabs the songs out of the saves. A bbs to midi converter. A midi to notes converter. A Banbro scoreboard. Mp3 trade sites, .bbs trade sites. ^__^

I played a japanese import with my friend for over a week when I was at his place and It was pretty fun.

Not that easy too. I wouldn't buy it but it's a fun thing to play

Anyone figure out how to use the Midi to BBS converter? This is such a great game, And I've figured out how to add custom songs to my .sav file, but I really would wish to be able to add some of my old favorites songs to it, like the megaman2 woodman level theme song, or ninja gaiden tunes, ultima 7 and castlevania. There are so many great songs that would be a blast to play with this game.
So far I've figured out how to create 256kb bbr files, but I have no clue how to convert that to the 24kb bbs files that Daigasso uses.

This is where I downloaded the midi to BBS editor, as you can see, its all in japanese so the instructions are far from clear.

Alright I finally found the MIDI to .bbs file converter, and it works relatively well.
Download here: http://maxmediadock.pbwiki.com/f/bbstomidi.zip

Don't forget to check the readme for instructions (theyre real simple)

How do you actually implement the music files into the game? Do you need the real game or can you use a rom?

Yeah can put up to 8 custom songs onto your daigasso save at a time. It is a save editor so it doesnt matter if you have the cartridge or the rom. I use the rom myself.

Here is the save editor: http://zigg.com/code/dbbsed/
