Should I upgrade to 3.00u via internet or metroid prime 3?

Hi all,

I'll upgrade my NTSC-U Wii from 2.2u to 3.0u. I just bought metroid prime 3, so I have no other choice but to upgrade. Is there a difference between upgrading from the internet and upgrading from a game?

No difference that I can think of.

my copy of metroid didn't update me to 3.0. i did an update but didnt update to 3.0.

I readed somewhere that metroid updated the wii to 3.0u, but anyway what version it is!!

why o why o why are there still people questioning 3.0 and wiikey updates and all that stuff.. there are so many threads out there that it all does NOT MATTER ><

I have not found any NTSC game that updates me to v3.0u yet.
I think the only way to get 3.0 at this time is to update via internet?
Am i correct?

I also updated my Wii with metroid's update, and my Wii still stayed at 2.2 U. May be you need to update from Internet to get FW3.0.
