Ever since my fat PS2 broke i've been using a PStwo and Swap Magic. Sometimes depending on the dump or the burn, ill get horrendous load times & laggy movies. I was debating selling my PStwo and getting a fat one & another network adapter. I already have HDloader (one of the original versions). I was just wondering if the compatibility was still good as far as single layer games go. I cant seem to find a compatibility list for within the last 5 months. Also, if HD loader is still highly compatible, I was wondering if i needed the newest version, or if my old disc would be fine.
Hope someone can help me.

if you wanting to use a HDD on the slim ps2.. i think you will need the USBExtreme software as the slimps2 HDD needs to be plugged in via usb port...
im not 100% positive but thats the only way to plug a HDD on the slim ps2...

Just ordered HD Advance for the same reason. I will let you know that product's compatibility. Their website is pretty up to date, and it looks like a lot of hard drives are supported, as well as dual layer games.

Thanks for the help guys. I put in an order for HD Advance ($28 shipped, not too bad). I was able to move some of my Blockbuster credit over to Gamestop, so i shouldnt have to pay a thing to get my PS2.
