A new port of Rise of the Triad for the DS has been released, with the latest build now fully supporting sound effects as well as music now being supported too.

Changelog

- Sound effects are now fully supported.
- Music is now supported, with caveats. ROTTDS cannot (currently) play the game's music natively; however you can extract the music files from the game, convert them to ADPCM on your PC, and place the resulting files in your /rott/ directory, and ROTTDS will play them. I'm providing a music package containing the shareware music in ADPCM format. See the README.NDS file for more info.

This game was memorable just for the scenes where they get on their knees and beg for their lives just before dying.
Disturbed a few friends of mine....but not me.

If you ran up fast enough and shot them in the head execution style there helmets would roll off :)

I have been hesitant to post, but I am having trouble running this registered version of the game. I have all of the necessary files put into the /rott folder and I patched the .nds file with the proper dldi. Every time that I run the .nds file, it stops with the line:

BuildTables()
W_GetNumForName: tables not found! Episodes =0
Area =1

What am I doing wrong?
