Only by hands.dll and hex-editor. Data in file not decripted.

Ikest may you upload the hands.dll and a hex editor please? i would like to extract the scenes myself as downloading and waiting 200 minutes for every part is time consuming.

did anyone get sound to work on pmf files? mine is soundless >.< even with a at3 codec.

There is a way to get good sound easily from pmf now. Then you can convert the pmf to avi and get both video and sound thanks to Atrac3 file decompressor.

OK problem resolved.. with Linux the add-on downloads fine ;D!!

Now the question: how to extract the audio themes? the AT3 dont play with GoldWave :S (only the AT3 of 100kb, but the 1Mb at3 doesnt work)

Hi everyone sorry but Im not english and I dont speak/write well.
Anyway Id like to create a FF7 backup.
I saved the cso from the umd in my computer but Id like to rip it too.
I know there s 1 single file (pkg) that contains lot of files.
I ve installed xpert tool with final fantasy 7 crisis core plugin and I can open the pkg file I had extracted with umdgen.
How can I relink videos? Do I need to extract the pkg on my HD? And then how can I open it with umdgen to rip videos etc? And then how can I create the new pkg?

hey guys, can any1 tell me the file numbers and in which order the pmf files appear in the game?

see what i wanna do is make 2 cso files, 1 with first half of FMV's and the second cso with the second half of fmv's while the rest are relinked with a pmf of smaller size.

all this so i can fit it on a 1gb card, but still play the full game on the same game save file, just swapping out the cso's kinda like swapping cd's.

Tt took me about an hour to dump both audio and video from .pmf, about 3GB free space to convert the 25mb .pmf file to .avi with video compression. The final result was 40mb avi (also converted it into .mp4 avc) file with nice quality (almost the same) but i dont have enough space for the rest of CGI cinematics.
I have to thank for either xpert tool and pmf tutorial ;)

i dled all the ccff7 cgi files but when i use this method (http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=79380) to convert the pmf to avi it works great with the smaller pmfs... anything 23mb and under. i only run into problems with the larger pmfs like with video01 (40.9mb) and video09 (153mb)... well just about anthing above 23mb.

When i use mplayer to view the .DUMP file the video plays all the way thru without problems... i only run into problems when i use the mencoder.exe to make an avi.

I need some help and i hope someone can get back to me asap.
