Hi
I purchased a fat PS2 console with a HD Advance HD built in it. Was told to put memory cards in the both slots and put in a disk to access it. The disk keeps reading, disk error and i cant get into it.
Does the memory card have software on it as i deleted any saved games on it?
Please help?
Any information needed, im happy to give.
Thanks

out of curiosity, what disk are you using? it sounds like you may be using the independence exploit. if so, you have to use a disk specified in the mem card (title.db) you're going to have to ask the seller what disk he used.

the hd advance is the disk, i run my games directly from the disk, maybe that is what you have to do,

Okay, that last post didn't make much sense.
So you've managed to get your PS2 to boot but it goes straight into the FTP software? Or do you have a menu that means you can get into HDAdvance but now you are wanting to know how to transfer games using ExecFTP? You should make this more clear.
Anyway, if it's the first, the likelihood is that you have a boot menu on there set to 0 seconds. Try holding down different buttons on the controller as you boot to get different programs. For example, on mine I have Cogswap on Square, Exec FTP on X and HdLoader on triangle.
If you're just wanting to know how to transfer games via ExecFTP, I wouldn't bother as it takes forever. Hook your PS2 HD up to your computer and use a software program called WinHIIP to transfer the games. It is so much quicker.

if that last post was mean't for me, i just put my hd advance 3.0 in my ps2 and it boots to the menu and i select which game i want to play and thats it, the only bad thing is everytime i want to play a different game i have to reboot my ps2 and select another game, other than that it works great
