Hello,

Today I installed a Wiikey, it's the second time I did it and the first time everything worked perfectly. This time however the wii won't connect to either one of my wiimotes anymore. It does boot, it recognizes originals, Wii-backups and Gamecube-backups but it won't see the wiimote whatever I do.

I've unplugged the Wii and connected the Wii that has my first wiikey install and everything worked perfectly again. So there's nothing wrong with the cables or the wiimotes.

I also tried the wiimote's synchronize-button (next to the batteries) but that won't matter either.

Re-checked the two drive cables and they seem to be alright too...

Any ideas?
Sure hope so.....

Thanks!

did you plug the sensor bar back in?

Yes...plugged it back in, multiple times! ;)
But even without the sensorbar it should react on the A button to get by the warning screen shouldn't it?
Eventually his warning passes by itself and that's how I know it recognizes the games.

On another forum I've read that if you mod someone elses Wii you should sync a wiimote BEFORE you start to mod. Actually I don't see how this would make a difference but apparently it might...maybe somebody can confirm this?
