How can I play burned games (not on a HD) using slide card and gameshark? I don't want to put my games on an HD, I want to burn them to discs and use those. How can I do this? I can buy Gameshark and I can make a slide card, how do I get the burned games to play?

If you have a fat ps2 with the HDD bay, you should use the swap technique. C'mon, IDE hdd are still cheap, look for a used network adapter.. ebay? and your half done. Swap is certainly the cheapest way to play backups.. but I hate it.. There are so many usefull software for the ps2 elflauncher, HDLoader.. swap stuff is history.. you could also wait a bit more for the Vast MC ?
looks promising.

OK, I guess IDE is the standard, but what else do I need other than the network adapter and my harddrive (20gb)? I don't have to buy anything else right?
