Hi
I am a lucky owner of two Nintendo Wii one is an imported USA and the other is a UK one.
Now I had a look at the available mod-chip out in today’s market and to my surprised I was unable to find one that has support for the Virtual console.
Rom support for the Virtual console (allows you to use your own ROMs that is freely available on the NET on the Nintendo Wii)
Maybe this would never be supported.
Please let me know if there is a mod-chip that has planes to implement this kind of support for ROMs.
Thanks

There is no mod chip that can run any form of wiii homebrew yet. Virtual console is not been cracked either so no theres no rom suport for any mod chip out right now that run in wii mode. However you can use the gamecube side of the wii and run roms in gamecube mode like snes nes gens sms and so on but no n64. You will have to use a gamecube controler as wii controllers dont work in gamecube mode.

why does everybody keep saying that you cant play n64 games in GC mode? I have a disk that I recently 'found' with 10 n64 games on it, takes up less than a gig on the dvd and most of the games play no problem:confused:

You are stuipid or youve never played those games on a real n64. All the graphical glitch's and cracking sound slow downs crash's ect arnt in the original game. Playing n64 in gamecube mode is like playing n64 on crap power.

No piracy talk. Those roms you find "freely" available aren't legal, and if they're freely available then they are pd roms that are meant to be played in an emulator. If you want vc games, buy them from nintendo.
