Here are two pictures of the new limited edition Halo 3 Xbox 360 packaging and controller. The limited edition controller comes complete with a little version of Master Chief who could prove to be invaluable on your travels.

Pidgeo this morning has shown off the new limited edition Halo 3 console and controller from Microsoft. As you can see the box art for the console is pretty sweet but even more sweeter is that you can get your very own little Master Chief to help you save the planet come September 25th if you pick yourself up a new LE Halo 3 controller.

I don't think this is going to add any new 360 buyers to the fold, just the crazy Haloites who already own a 360....they may buy this for an extra (or to stand in while their other 360 is out for repairs), but it's the same crappy 360 that will die and Halo 3 isn't included.

The point was its themed for halo 3 and intended to be purchased with halo 3. But there are 3 versions of halo 3 out and its to allow you to pick the one you want.

Good catch, thought the same thing. Probably because both are centered around Halo 3 rather than Halo in general. Love the Spartan controller and already have it pre ordered with Halo 3, won't get a Halo 360 though, already have a case mod that looks better than the Halo 3 console. I do like the orange bezel and HDD for the Halo 3 360 though, that's one thing I can't copy until they start selling the mods. On another note, the Covenant controller looks like ****, the paint job isn't anywhere near the Sparatan one...plus no Halo around the Ring of Light.

Also note, I love people who use gay as an insult. It proves their lack of intelligance, my 13 year old sister uses "Gay" as meaning bad or sucking. But when a guy uses it, even if they are 13, it really shows how secure about their sexuality they are.
