A new game has been released from SEGA in Japan for the DS, the game is called Heart Scan and acts as some kind of lie detector which utilizes the microphone to monitor emotion and intention in voice patterns. The title went on sale on the 16th in Japan but there is no word on whether it will be released anywhere elese.

Japanese videogames are so silly. This new DS game from SEGA called Heart Scan works as a sort-of lie detector and uses the microphone to detect emotion and intention in voice patterns.

The game went on sale on the 16th in Japan, but will probably not release in the US.

Heart Scan uses "sensibility technology," which was developed by Advanced Generation Interface Japan Inc. and SGI Japan. The initial use for the tech was to monitor worker moods over the phone.

Adleast it's not another sonic game.

Wish they'd just stick to the 2D gameplay, unfortunetly the DS gets that fucking treatment

They should just release on Arcade or PSN a new Sonic Game which has the roots of the classic gameplay that made Sonic a kick ass game.

That last Sonic game on 360/PS3 is bollocks, as a Sonic fan since I was a little kid, I was disappointed at the final result, such bollocks.

BUut back to subject, a lie dectector game? Interesting, the DS is getting these innovative games like Brain Training and now this.

So will this mean the ds will soon have adverts for as seen on jerry springer or jeremy kyle in the U.K. Interesting concept but can't see the public appeal in it or anybody being happy to receive it as a gift without wondering what the message was lol.

I just tried it and it doesn't work at all! Basically if you talk loud it'll tell you you're lying. Great. Ripoff!

These things arn't games, really DS is a can to put whatever the developers try out , and can turn on a profitable experience ( even ports from previows computer era ). Apart from good games like Luminous arc, Brain Age, Castlevania, the amount of software that they can put to sale on the DS is amazing.
