Hey everyone,

I found this deal if you are looking into buying one. Its through amazon and if you add the player and 3 HD DVD movies from the list tey provide in the link below they will take the price off of the movies. Also they will give you a mail in rebate to get 5 free movies. I priced it out and the total came to 184.94. For 5 bucks more I was sold. Even if HD-DVD were to fade away, the SD DVDs look way better in this player than the built in 360 drive.

what good movies are on blu-ray? none, because they all look flat and have noise in the encoding. i have a ps3 and 360 have watched plenty of movies on each. i will no longer purchase any blu-ray movies. as far as sony studios exclusive releases, well, i won't cry over not having spider-man 3 in hd-dvd.
and before anybody screams "if h-dvd is so great, why are they giving away so many free movies?" well, the same exact deal is available for blu-ray players and the ps3 to get 8 or 9 movies free.
