Hi guys,
I'm from the UK, but someone in America owes me a favour and will hopefully be sending me a PSP (i'll be paying for it of course).
My question is, i'd really like to try some of these cool homebrew developments, but is it likely i'm going to be sent a 1.51 or 1.52 (or even 2.0) PSP if i buy one now ?
Thanks in advance.
Also, is there any chance at all that the 2.0 firmware will play homebrew in the future ?
Cheers.

If you check the serial number, if it ends in an A or no letter then its a 1.5, if theres a B its a 1.51. 1.52 is japan only. Tell him all that and see if you can find one thats 1.5. Also tell him to open it and try it before he sends it to you to check for dead pixels.
PS I was gonna reply to you yesterday but the forums took a dump during server upgrade :)

It doesn't matter, i've changed my mind anyway. I can't really afford a PSP so i decided just to buy a few more games for my DS.
I'll play the waiting game and see if the 2.0 is hacked up then perhaps pick up a UK one when they come down in price. Thanks for your help though. :D

Quick question:
I just purchased this PSP off of Ebay. It comes with the Spiderman 2 movie and a demo disk. Is it pretty safe to say that it's gonna be a 1.50 since the Spiderman movie is included...?
