HERE (http://slightmiscalculation.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=34) is the Pro version. It looks almost identical, but check the credits, it's "pro"

So does this version allow you to fast forward/rewind your DivX/XVIDs yet or do you have to sit through the intro credits again?
Also, any AC3 support yet?

I cant get videos to stream over a network after putting in the right ip's for both pc and ps2. What do you guys do for networking videos to reality?

I thought I already had this on my PC. Two's better than none right?
Only problem is that the reality site has either been bought by someone else or they are re designing it. Either way it's down.
The link at the top of this page for "more info" took me to http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=4483
On there there was a link to "download" which took me straight back to this thread!
Anyone know if it's on any other servers?
Dunno if this is the Pro one, but here it is if anyone needs it http://ps2emu.dcemu.co.uk/PS2R%20MediaPlayer%201.28e.rar
I'm still a bit off a noob with this, but why are all ELF loaders I've found in ELF format? Isn't that like making winrar into a rar file?

ELF files are just like normal pc *.exe files , i.e. executables files.
They are simply called ELF files.

But I really need to know how to install this Media Player. I have a Matrix Infinity Modchip, so do I just burn the files of the Media Player and then when it's running I can insert a CD with a Divx in it?
Or is there some way of installing it in the memory card? Just transferring the ELF files to your MC?
I'm sorry, but I've tried and tried and I cannot watch Divx in my PS2 yet :(

In the docs directory of the rar is a readme that explains it all. You can put the stuff on a MC or USB stick if you have the PS2Linux RTE disc. You can burn a CD and boot it with a mod-chip or swap disc. The files need to be located at a specific block, so you need something like http://wire.napalm-x.com/downloads/misc/cdgenps2v2.zip to make the ISO to burn to CD.

Thanks for helping out. I read the redme, but will copying the elf file to the MC will be enough for the Matrix Chip's Infinity Manager to run it like a program? I've tried with a past version long ago.. I'd like to know if anyone has experience using the player with the Infinity Chip's launcher, the Infinity Manager.

Nope. I use the ID exploit and MCLoader on my PS2... which comes with the new PS2Reality player along with a new version of CDGenPS2.

I did goof on one thing - cdgenps2 comes with PS2 Exploit Made Easy, not PS2Reality Pro.

I've since quit using MC Loader and switched to uLaunchELF. It's much better - far easier to setup and use.
