Limited edition Bioshock faceplates are reportedly fetching big bucks on eBay, with many selling for over $100 and almost all are selling for more than $50 a piece. Apparently, the only way to get your hands on one of the 5,100 available faceplates is to either work at a gaming store and hope you can gain a freebie or become a community member and again ask politely.

The faceplate is limited to 5,100 units and features a stunning design. The only way to get one? Work at a gaming store and hope you get a freebie, or become a community member and ask politely.
Giveaways like this are a nice incentive to keep gamers interested in the game and to help keep people interacting in the community, but of course whenever the words "limited" and "edition" are put together in this business, they mean one thing: eBay. And those faceplates have been going for quite a lot of money on the auction service. How much? Many have cracked $100, and almost all of them are over $50.
