does this let you change the icons as well or just the backgrounds?

I'm pretty sure its just the skins, I haven't managed to find the time to test it yet :)

Ok, I figured out the problem.
I was having issues with getting this error on a lot of homebrew stuff.
You have to use the KXPLOIT tool to load and convert these items to your PSP.
I did that, and everything started working.

Greetings,
I recently downloaded this, ran it through seiPSPtool, and got the program to run. However, it looks to me as though there are no skins included with the download (which I got from here at MaxConsole). Therefor, I was wondering two things.
1. Where can I get premade skins?
2. Can I make my own skins, and what sort of criteria/syntax do I need to follow to successfully do so?
I appreciate the help, as the readme document is rather brief.
Sincerely,
TastEPlasma
PS I just bought my PSP about 4 hours ago, and seeing as how this is my first post here I just wanted to thank all the people making this scene a possibility, especially the various people who collaborated and figured out that an "A" or nothing beneath the 120v on a US PSP box meant version 1.5. Also of course a gigantic shout out to the emulator and homebrew authors, for if they had not been so skilled I would not have purchased a PSP this day. :D That's right Sony, you owe the emulation scene a thanks for creating a sale of your product!! ;)

You should read the readme file on it. Its fairly simple and similar to pspersonalize. When you put the "skins folder inside of the "PSP" folder, there should be other folders named whatever you want you themes to be called, and inside these folders are regular bmp's, like found at thepspimp.com (the smaller ones not 2.0 sized). You can put 12 pics in each folder you make each one named corresponding for the month it shows up, like 01.bmp=JAN and 09.bmp=SEP. Hope that helped. read the README if you dont understand

Greetings,
Ah, excellent, thank you so much for the help, I understand it now. For some reason the wording of the readme didnt make any sense at all, and I didnt realize it was necessary to set it up for a full twelve months of backgrounds.
Thanks again!
Sincerely,
