looking for a snes emulator that works with max media player and dock
and the games earth bound and morio rpg

No emulator runs SMRPG. It's too powerful a game (has the SA-1 coprocessor that is 3 times faster than the SNES CPU itself). Earthbound reportedly works on SNEmulDS but with some freezing issues.

i can enter the program but it says to put roms in /snes/ directory

Put your ROMs in /SNES, and DLDI patch it.
