There are ways to play games but youŽll need a flashcard like the neoflash. But I recommend waiting for a better solution like the g6flash. There are so much topics here just browse a bit and get informed about it.

Ok i know the neo flash but this g6 flash what will have more? how the neo flash work? It put one game in the gba cartidge and then let you play from there?

Yes basically thats how all flashcards work but in case of the DS youŽll need a passme too for ds slot. Both neoflash and g6flash come with it so dont worry about getting one. The g6flash is far superior because it will play movies as well as games and music and has built in emulators and according to some sellers who already contacted them the g6flash will be alot cheaper. It still isnt released so stay tuned for more information.

The cheapest way to play backed up DS roms, at the moment is buying a xg2turbo 1Gb (the 512 Mb is said not to work) and a passme. You can get both of them for around $130.00 or so. And they only play "Nuked" roms (roms that have been patched etc) which are released by GST (golden sun team). Clean dumps will not work and you can only have one DS game in the card at time (no multi boot). You burn the rom to the xg2t card with neopower kit v1.1 software.

I think they've nuked almost every rom thats been released so theres quite a few GST roms out there. One draw back is you need to have A ds game in the passme with the same memory size as the one your booting from the xg2turbo card or you won't be able to save but you can still play it.

This is the setup up I have and it works great. No need to spend a grip on the neoflash crap. Thx goes out to Cory1492 for answering some of my dumbass questions on gbatemp.net!

Just a side note: Kirby Canvas Curse and Another Code (Trace Memory) kick ass! 2 real good back ups to have......

I thought with the "GBA save" releases, it doesn't matter which DS game you use, since it saves to the GBA slot instead. No multiboot = sucks. I was thinking about ordering that setup, but that has changed my mind completely. I'll wait for the M3 Adapter or the G6 thingie that everyone says will be so great.

I played rogue agent and another code w/the the "gba_save" and it does allow you to save your game but as soon as you reboot the DS, there goes your saved games. I soon after DL the "nds_save" versions.

I just checked a couple of my "gba_save" roms and 2 of 3 of them are working. I can load the the save game from the sram on the cart. the only one i cant is another code "gba_save_beta". I guess thats why its beta :)

Tell me this - is there a way to upload/download the SRAM save data from the games saved on the flash carts? If so, then it might be worth buying one. Still seems over priced, and no multiboot = not having GBA games on the same cart = sucks.

I'm not sure how to back up the saves to your PC, maybe action replay or something? The cart did hold my old saves from nanostray and golden eye even after I burned a couple of other games on there.....

The multiboot feature i think it's the most important ...

With the new g6 thing will i be able to have on the same 1giga cartidge more nds game and select wich one to play? And i can save every game separately?

I will buy the cartidge when it will

1) have More nds game on the same cartidge
2) can handle the different save file, so i can play every game that is store in the cartidge, without erasing the saving of other game...

will one of all this, neo flash,xg or g6 be able to do this?:)

I've had almost the exact same questions as the topic starter so they are all but one answered. My only remaining question is if it's possible to play .nds files with a CF card.

I've heard they were working on this, but then again I've heard it was already possible. Next thing you know, it's not. So if somebody could help me out here ;)

It's possible with the Supercard and it's firmware upgrade but roms need patching and I don't think the patch app is out yet.

The guys from G6flash also made a simular device called the M3 which will play the roms without problems but is not out yet
