3.03 blocks Datel Media Launcher & Action Replay

the new update now blocks Gamecube Disks Datel Media Launcher and Action replay

in the past it was only PAL region that had blocked AR but aparently other regions are now blocking it from some people ive talked too

i'm in the PAL region and i tested DML and it is now brining up an error on launch and doesnt boot so seems theyve completley blocked it, i dont know about other regions for DML

That's gonna piss Datel off no-end, they will either need to work on patching it (and given what we know about how it works and wii security I'm not sure how they could) or just by recalling it and releasing another version and then waiting for nintendo to block that in the next revision.

iirc PAL it has always blocked and now NTSC as well.
By the way, the firmware is 3.0.. not 3.03 :p
And you can still boot the disc using GCOS tho I think action replay hardware doesn't work anymore not sure.

d'oh damn psp firmware making me get confused with wii version number

the reason i bought the datel media launcher in the first place was to use GCOS on the wii which i now cant do and i have no desire to hard mod it

come on softmodders!

plus i just read on google news freeloader is also blocked
