Shipping from Canada to US, any problem with Customs?

If a mod chip is shipped from a Canadian supplier to be shipped to the US, is there any chance for customs to search and seize the product?

I don't know anything about what exactly the customs do. Is it like a border patrol, and they search random packages or all packages?

I know it's been done in the past, but with all of the recent events with the mod chip crackdown I didn't know if anything had changed, or if anyone else has ordered and received theirs after August 1st.

I thought things may be different because the agency that had the warrants was ICE, or US Immigration and __Customs Enforcement__.

they cant posibly check every package that leaves canada, and if they do, online stores from canada would know and it would be a diferent story
