wii 3.0u update now internet connection error all channels

I updated wii w/wiikey from 2.2u to 3.0u now get can't connect to server and wiiconnect24 error. The internet connection test works fine just can't access any of the channels. Backups work fine too. Anybody else having this problem? Is this because of the wiikey? I noticed in the user agreement something about modded consoles not working :o)

I had this at first, had to go into my internet settings, choose the connection I wanted to use (it had set itself to the wrong one), and hit "Use this connection".

sure that it didn't just reset the settings n turned wiiconnect 24 off? haven't heard something like this from people yet

The error code is 051420

When I try to load news or weather. I get either FORE000002 or NEWS000002 errors.

Those are new errors btw, never had those before

I also have an NTSC wii modded with wiikey at 2.2U. Havent updated to 3.0U and Im kinda scared too. Anyone else have some results with these statistics?

Just do a system format.

I did the update nothing really happened just the wiikey setup disc 1.2 doesnt work all the other setup disc before that works though

What about your VC games? Does the format delete them? I was going to do this, but a warning about loosing all my Channels.

I did the same thing. My internet connection and wiiconnect24 still works fine.
