Seems like a few new loaders are coming out with WiFi enabled. I'm hearing reports that the following games have had their loaders re-released or have now been tested for WiFi compatibility:
Ape Escape
DarkStalkers
Dead To Rights
Lumines
NBA 2K5
Smartbomb
Wipeout Pure
I think the reason for this is the loaders after Lumines (based off the original NBA 2k5 loader by WAB and PSP-DEV) only had the ability to load three PRX files from the memory stick. It was a proof of concept release more than anything else.
The PRX files were for sound only. Because the network PRX files were not being loaded, the WiFi element of games was not working.
Since WAB 2.5a was released, it has started loading all PRX files. This enabled loading of the audio and movie PRX files, hence we saw more and more loaders being released. Now we are seeing Wifi enabled releases.
It's unknown whether this is the full cure for all games, but more refined loaders are starting to emerge now.
