Sorry for reposting the same thread but I forgot to add that the Mario Strikers was PAL (Since the NTSC version is not out yet, to my knowledge anyway). The replies I have gotten assumed that my version of MS was NTSC.

I recently put Mario Strikers(PAL) into my US Wii with WiiKey and it did an update on it. I just heard about this brick problems and was scared about my Wii.

Why did my Wii not brick? I bought my Wii recently and it came with 2.2U. Is that why? And is my Wii totally safe or did the update still do something to it? Finally, what preventive measures can I do from now on to protect my Wii from bricking?

Thanks guys!

1. It did not brick because you already had the latest firmware (2.2)
2. Use Wii Brick Blocker on games before burning to remove the update

why the **** would you start a new thread? I hope you're banned and your Wii bricks itself.

You could have just updated your original thread. Plus NTSC version of Strikers has been out for 3 days now.

Don't be such an asshole eh? The other topic was locked as it had been answered adequetely in the mods belief, however the topic wasnt specific enough so he made another thread.

Ps, I hope you're banned and your wii bricks itself.
