Has anyone else ever heard of this game?

Hey all. I was on (*edit* a site) getting a Mario Kart DS (*edit* uhh.... thing), and I saw a game called "Mario & Luigi RPG 2x2". It was in japanese. Is this just the japan version of Mario and Luigi Partners in Time? Is not, will it be released in North America anytime soon? Can someone send me some info on it? Thanks.

It's "Mario and Luigi partners in Time" game, orinal name on Jap Mario & Luigi 2 x 2.
