this probably a really stupid question but can you downgrade your psp to 1.50 just a question

simple answer nope! sorry cant be done, well not at the moment the only real progrees i think could be made is if a loophole is found in the current firmware to allow unsigned code to run and in the future possibly redump the 1.5 firmware back to the flash so it's a waiting game im afraid.

I am sure it is only a matter of time till they hack that one too. Currently most people are on 1.5 so they are focusing on that. I would imagine that it will get to the point that they will be able to strip the update firmware from the game UMDs. Who knows, it is certainly an exciting time for the PSP.

As my first moderating duty, I am closing this. As of now, there is no way to downgrade firmware and all tests have failed. For now you must be patient and see if they hack it.
