View Full Version : Xbox 360 gets funky pink and blue wireless controllers
Microsoft has confirmed that it is to release new colors of the official wireless Xbox 360 controller - variations in pink and blue (dark and light) to be exact. The new colors will be available from October and be priced at $50.

JESUS! Damn whoever gets the idea for colors like that should be shot! If they want to bring different colors they should at least make a nice design and not such rubbish.
I think the pink one is okay (if you're a girl) but a light or dark blue would have been much nicer instead of "kiddie blue".

Taking a page out of Nintendo's book. A smart move that will sell more controllers faster.

I really do not understand why different colored controllers were not available at launch. All consoles should have different colored controllers. It would hardly cost anything to produce like 5 different colors, and then people could choose whichever they'd like when buying that extra controller (or 3).
I think that it is nice that they are doing it, but they should have done it 1½ years ago.

Answer: No console in history has ever had multiple color controllers at launch.

I'm not very fond of the pink and blue, (they did say they would have a dark blue though right?) Which isn't in the picture but might be tolerable. Now while I do enjoy halo a bit, but I also think its a bit over-rated and all these marketing stuff is a bit over the top. Then again I must also admit that, THAT Halo Green/Gold colored Xbox 360 looks amazingly nice. I'm tempted to get that because of how nice it looks, but I'll probably get an elite I really am going to need that 120gb hard drive now. = o
Its not pictured but I also like the Halo Headset that matches the theme. Now if they only made an elite (black) wireless headset I would be all set...

I was certain Black and Platinum came out later than the purple...But if not, I stand corrected. lol. But that's a far cry from most consoles who have more than 1 color for their controllers.
As for the topic, Pink one looks better than the blue. But there's White and Black out now with the Halo Green coming soon, so you'll have several different colors to choose from sooner than later.

Why not buy the Halo 3 console and then buy the 120GB HDD? It'd be the same price as an Elite.
