According to Reuters, Microsoft has today announced it would launch the Xbox 360 Elite in Japan on October 11th, which comes complete with HDMI and a 120GB hard disk drive at a complete price of 47,800 YEN ($390). Sales of the Xbox 360 in Japan have been somewhat stuttering in the region, so this could version could help to boost sales or continue the trend.

In Japan they like games and sutff that overseas are for kids, so they should stick to NINTENDO's and MARIO's and things like that....

At least they aren't going to have problems with restrictions to their games.... manhunt 2.....

Maybe they are the ones that are right.

oh dear microsoft are preety brainless , the japanese are holding back on the ps3 due to the cost no mater there love for the sony brand . the only way ms can hope of shiftiing consoles in japan is by lowering prices rockbottum not by releasing higher priced versions of there consoles with sockets that are found on the competitiors machine.

Most of the japanese simply don't like the controller. That's pure fact. That's wht they stick with the Wii and PS3. There's more of those ownwed by the japanese; I guess they hate american made consoles.
