i got my wii chipped, and all is fine. my only problem is that, i had left a game inside the wii...(gamecube one)

i tried to eject after i was finished, but nothing worked, so i just yanked it out. now everytime i turn on the wii i hear buzzin noises as if the wii wants the game. when i give it one, it gladly takes it, and plays it. if i take i eject, it'll give it to me, and it'll turn off fine. but then when i turn it back on, it starts making a noise as if it wants a game (because it does).

if i give it a wii game, it starts to spin it, but scratches it. (you can hear the scratching noises while it spins.

how do i fix this?

also...i do remember when i first opened the wii, to chip it. i did accidentally open the wii dvd drive because i thought that's what needed opening. but...it wasn't so i quickly closed it and opened the right thing....

[edit] i kept fiddling around, and now the drive isn't working at all...

i don't want to do the fuse thing, because my switch didn't get messed up by heat in the first place, and even if it did, that fuse fix will only last a few months right? and...would it even work?

When you open the drive itself its easy for the plastic parts inside to come loose. This happened to me. I'd try getting a diagram of the drive and check to see if yours looks exactly like it. Never did get mine working again. :(

Sounds like the white pin cabel was not conected back just right. Had that happen to mine and now it works fine. Would try that. Just my 2cents.

anyway...i'm just gonna keep tinkering with it. thanks! and...it's not a blown fuse . i know cause it was kinda working when i finished installing the chip. after tinkering with it, i must've loosened something, and now it doesn't work. i'm gonna look for that pin while you reply though ^_^

Sorry about that. The drive pins. You have the ribbin cabel and then the white connecter sounds like one of those pins maybe bent are you may have not gotten the conecter on just right. Do you know what white cords I am talking about now?
