Hey guys!
I remember reading once that there was a dsmidi or something for ds, also another program that allowed recording from a mic to the DS.
Im wondering if there is a program that will allow you to use the mic / line in port, and play it though the speakers, like a loudspeaker of sorts. This would be incredibally handy for either:
Connecting a phone or ipod and use as loudspeakers
even connected an electric guitar up to your DS and do some portable recording / playing.
I guess if something like this DOESNT exist, i think i might try making it myself!

It would be cool, but where would you plug the guitar into?

the DS is not able to handle sound such as a guitar. You could quite possibly blow out the speakers... and I don't know if the arm7 could handle it.

It can handle music being played with guitars, why not just the guitar itself? BTW whenever you try to act like you know what you're saying you convince me you don't :).

I was going to just plug it into the mic port (with maybe a modified headset or home made simple PCB) the mic port is next to the headphone jack
BTW i wasnt expecting to put the volume up way beyond what its made to do.. same volume level as playing music or any game! The NDS is capable of recording sound i KNOW. Just need a way for it to record and play at same time.
If any of you want to know what im talking about, do this. Plug a mic into your pc. select it as your recording device and UNMUTE IT. this way whatever ur mic records it will play through your speakers, like a megaphone or loudspeaker :)
