You heard MMD people talk about playing it or people? Because people (in general) include those who are using the current slot-1 solutions, some of which have a higher compatibility list right now.

It's important to know which people were talking about it. The M3, a near clone of the R4, cannot play The Legend of Zelda by itself. The R4, however, can, and is the only one I heard so far to be able to play the game. And with my experience with the MMD, the library of games available isn't as pretty. I am simply assuming right now that you cannot run Legend of Zelda no doubt.

Unless Max Overload whatever introduces 1.3. Oh wait...

The M3 can play TLOZ:PH, with either the new firmware update (has it been released yet?) or the firmware conversion program. Get over it, the R4 isn't the only one that can play a game. Most flash cards have released updates by now that let it play.

Like I said, it can't play LoZ by itself (right now as far as I know).

Also, I said the R4 is the only one I heard that can play the game so far. Don't get so jumpy.

... is the only one I heard so far...

I don't pay attention to Supercard or Cyclo enough to contribute.

Lol, it doesn't work with anything else because you don't care if it does? And yeah, the copy-cat firmware is out too.

I'll rephrase my post because even I am getting confused here.

Okay, Mr. Topic creator. From what I have heard, only the R4 can play The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The M3 cannot play it by itself (so far) so you would need a firmware converter. I had problems with the MMD playing even the simplest of ROMS, so I have no faith in the MMD's compatability. Unless, of course, they release a Maximum Overload (drive?) 1.3 version.

As for voteforpedro36, I lack enough knowledge on the other flash carts to contribute information regarding TLoZPH. This includes the Supercard and the CycloDS (as well as all the other ones I didn't mention. Which means I don't even know if they exist). So if you were to ask me if they could play the game or not, I will simply reply with "I do not know".
