there is some dev related info that I read and cant find just now, sorry.

The info I'm looking for has to do with the method used to display the picture on the gba hardware, and where the color you arent seeing is in the pallette.

If you know paint progs somewhat well, try switching the location of the dark color you arent seeing in the pallette before using the pic and (I cant remember for sure if you need it in the first four or out, but it something like that) give it a go on an emu like vba if thats possible first...

thanks for the reply, i am using photoshop and i am unsure of what you are talking about.

http://www.gameboy-advance.net/emulated/gba_slide_show.htm

i used the link above to make a gba rom with my pics and run it in vba it looks perfect, but if i put it on my cart, green pixels.

just flashed the slideshow and no green pixels so it only happens when i set them to my menu.

I thought you were talking about skinning the bootmanager, but its still the same deal, the slideshow gba software is using a screen mode that has transparent pixel support to display the pics, and should be reoorganizing the pixels/pallette properly when importing them into the rom (so you dont have to mess with them at all).

You are talking about skinning the gba app (ezloader) and not the win app correct? Simpler to change the pallette like I said above in MSpaint, cant even find display pallette in photoshop cs2 anymore myself...

I am talking about skinning the bootmanager(ezloader).

i tried paint and same problem, and im also using cs2 and i think what you are looking for is in Shift+Ctrl+K.

i only tried the slide show to see if it was the gba or the ezloader making the green pixels, and apparently its the gba.
