Soldier of Fortune to be resurrected for next-generation

According to internet reports, Activision is set to relight its presence in the FPS games genre market by bringing Soldier of Fortune to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms. Rumors suggest the title will be called Soldier of Fortune: Payback and may well hit retail by this November. If this is the case, then would expect Activision to reveal all on the matter at E3.

Awesome news! I got a flashback of playing Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2 when I read this. Will definitely be picking this title up!:D

Ive been waiting for a long time for this hope it will be as awesome multiplayer as SoF2 on PC was, can't wait to see those body parts flying off:p

I can't wait to see this 3rd installment of the game. Been reading on this on different websites and apparently everybody is ragging on the development team from activision that they are going to butcher the hell out of this. hopefully that's not true, I was so into SOF back in the day that I bought a new PC just so I could play SOF2
