Help installing Wiikey

Hi there

I'm new here and new to modding so please bare with me :o

I am about to install my Wiikey but I've seen people mentioning you need to create a config disc?

i got a cd with the chip. all it has on it is

the install guide - no mention of a config disc
the empty folders called
dols
media
snes
and three files

bootldr.dol
boot.catalog
mfe-fs

Any ideas what i need to do with this lot?

I think i have wiikey V2, if it exists that is.

any help would be greatly welcome.

You got that with a Wiikey? Strange. Anyways, my advice would be to ignore the CD you got, and download This. (http://www.wiikey.cn/dl/config.1.2.rar) This is the 1.2 version of the Wiikey setup disc. Double-click your region (for Example BootableDisc_US.bat) And it'll create an ISO for you. Burn the ISO to a DVD, and run it once your wiikey is installed. Then you're golden

Not sure if I have been given the wrong chip. It doesn't say WiiKey on it like the WiiKey site says it should have.

They dont have that on there anyway, and only the new ones have the hologram.

That disc that came with it is the configuration disc, g4p sometimes sends it with their wiikeys.
