Does installing a wii chip clear downloaded games?

Since you have to remove the battery to install a chip, will I lose all my wiipoint downloaded games? I've got alot and it'd be a pain to download again.

Nope. All my VC games are still there post-mod install.

follow the directions carefully and be sure to remove the battery - it'll cause issues if you don't.

The games are stored on non volitale flash memory, not ram so yea your games are gonna be fine.

Be sure to reset the date and time after you put it back together

Some channels don't like going back the odd 6 months in time ~:-)
