Hi
I have noticed after installing Wiikey that there is a constant flickering of the image on virtual console games. Solutions for this?
I was also wondering if there is possible to burn roms with classic games (nintendo 8, 16, 32 -bit) and play from cd. And then how it is will be with savegames and so on.
Thanks!

The chips have no effect whatsoever on virtual console games, so its got to be something else. The only way to play "classic games" on a wii other than paying for them thru the vc is to run them as gamecube homebrew and use the gamecube controller. There is no wii homebrew yet and the chips do not effect the vc games at all.

Ok, thanks for the reply. Still a shame dough since the gamecube controller isn't optimized for classic nintendo games.. I was looking forward to making a cd of all the classic nintendo games.
But since the wiikey is upgradeble wouldnt it be possible for someone to make a homebrew app for wii and add it as an app on the wiikey base disc?
btw. Anyone got an invite or recommandation for (a) good torrent tracker(s).

Not, the current mod chips are unable to run wii homebrew in any way. They are only drive mods, they don't bypass the wii's bios or other security so wii homebrew isn't possible. The only things possible with the current chips are wii backups, gc backups, gc homebrew, and limited import support, thats it.
As for your second question, this group does not support piracy, don't ask again.

Can I ask how can you make those vc games to a gamecube homebrew game?
thanks

You don't actually turn the VC games into gamecube homebrew.
If you search this forum or go to www.tehskeen.com you can download emulators for the Wii. By burning the emulators and roms to a dvd in the format specified you can run the games (roms) through gamecube homebrew.
