View Full Version : Sending the Wii away for mod?

I've finally decided I'm going to purchase a Wiikey.

Problem is I have no soldering experience and I'd rather not mess up my launch Wii :X. I was thinking of sending it to modchipman and having them put a Wiikey in for around 100 shipped back to me (includes Wiikey, service, and shipping).

Does anyone have any better alternatives for someone on a little budget?

I would go to ModAWii but I'm having trouble finding a group package like McM offers.

I live in the US.

Thanks

Your site is actually what I wanted to use, but it's for Canadians only ; ;

Why is that if I may ask? Customs?

Yup it would just be a hassle with customs when shipping things back and forth from Canada to US . I suppose that must be the reason why they only have install service in Canada :(

www.MetroidzModz.com is very reliable as well if you are in the US

is this the same member on here "M37R01D" if it is, i get asked to do a lot of repairs from US members, and i always pass them onto him, he gets my vote ;)
