Wow i know know they can make a Grand Theft Auto on the ds. Look at the game transformers. In that game you can free roam in a decently big city by car or helecopter or by a transformer. So i also now know they could of made the spiderman 3 game 3d in a big city too. So now my question is why didn't they make GTA on the ds and why didnt they make spiderman3 in 3d.

No one wants to make a GTA on the DS that can, if someone could and wanted to, they wouldn't have enough time to do it because they're more than likely a homebrewer, and have a real life. Also, Rockstar probably wouldn't like it, and don't want to do it themselves.

Well i was always thinking they were going to make a GTA on ds because they made one for gba and 2 for gbc. So i was always thinking there will be one on ds but i think they might have gone off of nintendo and went over too PSP

GTA will never appear on the DS, let alone any Nintendo product if Rockstar Games keeps making its games so violent/gory. Just look at Manhunt 2. Nintendo banned Manhunt 2 for the Wii simply because of how violent it was - and GTA is most definitely not too far away from MH2. Even though it's not as gory, it is still not a Nintendo-friendly game, so don't expect it to show up as another Nintendo title.
Am I the only person in the world that thinks GTA is shite? I really don't understand the interest in this game...

yes you are, pal. the GTA series must be my favourite games series of all time, and I've played a'plenty of games. and gta won't ever come to ds.
Honestly, I've tried hard to like it! I've played quite a few different versions on different consoles but it just doesn't do it for me.

each to their own of course. i just admire the storytelling qualities and freedom of the games. just a pity gta 4 isn't going to be set in London.

Because you must have a looooot of time to spend doing nothing more than 'exploring" or "whaveter you want ( I love that phrase.... ) on GTA games..lolz. People with better thigns to do with their time generally would prefer other alternatives.
GTA is for the teen market, ;) Still is a matter of taste only.( not mine ) , but it sells.

It's been refused classification in the UK, and it can't be sold without one. I imagine the BBFC won't rate it unless they cut parts.
It has also effectively been banned in the USA, because there it's been classifed as AO (Adults Only), so technically it can be sold, because it has a rating, but Sony and Nintendo have announced that they won't allow AO content on their consoles, so it can't be produced. Which, to me, sounds kind of like Sony saying that Hostel is a very gruesome film and so they're not going to allow it to be watched on their DVD players, but obviously as only a PS2 can play PS2 games they have a bit more control over the matter.
