Is there any way that you could patch this game and make it into english. ITs in japanese right now and i can't understand any of it. I have heard before something about that there are patches out for games to change the language of them.
do anyone here know anything about this?

The game has only been out for a few days (and isn't its official release not until tomorrow anyway?), so there's not been nearly enough time for someone to create a translation patch. Given the huge popularity of the Zelda series, I'd imagine a patch will eventually appear, but it's going to take some time.

There isn't an "automatic translator program" or anything. Hacking a game to translate it is a difficult task, especially since each game treats text differently.

The western versions will probably appear before a translation patch will (if one was to ever be created). I wouldn't hold your breath...

I'm merely guessing that a patch will appear due to the sheer popularity of the game. One might come out, it might not, I dunno.

As an example though, I do know that a user name a translation patch for the Panel de Pon DS game, which I'm really enjoying even though the European version was recently released (wonder if it's ever coming out in the US...)

I think that an entire script is a little bit harder to translate than a few lines for a simple menu.

Well yeah, I understand that, I'm just saying that such translation patches do exist.

Indeed they do and I think you'll agree that they're normally for Japanese games that never make it to western shores and take an age to arrive.
